Grace and Agape - Coronavirus Update
Grace and Agape Update - 3/12/20
Hello Grace Family!
As you are no doubt aware, information on the coronavirus is coming in rapidly. Since my letter yesterday major sports have suspended their seasons, a travel ban was announced, and beloved celebrities have been diagnosed. More closures and cancelations are taking place each minute.
As of now we are having worship in the physical church on Sunday. I will post an update on our Grace social media pages on Sunday morning first thing so as to provide you all with the latest information.
I am asking that everyone take their temperature on Saturday and Sunday. If you have a fever or do not feel well then please join us on the live stream. It can be found on our website here: https://www.graceumcdallas.org/grace-live-stream
The staff is meeting on Monday and we will be planning an online only service just in case we decide that is the best option.
On Thursday a patient went to the Agape Clinic and exhibited symptoms consistent with the coronavirus. There has NOT been a positive diagnosis. That person is currently being tested and the Agape Clinic will receive the results of that test. I will notify you when this happens.
As a precautionary measure the Agape Clinic is closed and will remain closed over the weekend. On Monday the Clinic will be deep cleaned. The staff members who served this individual are in self-quarantine and will remain quarantined until the results from the test are available.
Please keep all people affected by this virus in your prayers, from those physically ill to their loved ones to those suffering devastating financial realities due to the havoc this is wreaking across the globe. In these fearful times we are Christians stand as beacons of calm and hope to the world. Let the love and understanding of Christ shine in you.
Grace and Peace, Rev. Jonathan Grace
