This season of anticipation brings sadness to many persons who are actively grieving, feeling alone, or harboring painful memories of this time of year. It is a time of manufactured happiness, and expending the energy needed to “repeat the sounding joy” can be exhausting. Even the early sunsets and gray skies profoundly affect moods, spirits, and health.

Grace invites one and all to a Blue Christmas offering of music and prayer Friday, December 20, 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary. Those who attend are welcome to participate as much or as little as they desire. May the Holy Spirit bring comfort, hope, and light to all during this holy time.
