Sunday, October 27: Stewardship Grace Gathering

After our 10:50 Worship Service, join in a Grace Gathering in the parlor to celebrate Grace and express our collective gratitude for the pledges received in our Stewardship Campaign. Light, tasty fare and drinks will be served.

As we re-group and re-gather with our United Methodist connection, this course is a terrific way to publicly commit to our lay ministries in the new Horizon Texas Conference.  Introduction to Lay Servant Ministries serves as a refresher on our Methodist roots, a reflection on our spiritual gifts, and a renewal of the ministries to which we're called as persons baptized into the life, death, and rising of Jesus Christ.  

Participants in this ten-hour course have said they'd rather give up one weekend than spread this out over weeks of gatherings.  Completion of the course certifies you as a Local Lay Servant in the UMC; we'll offer an advanced LSM course in the Spring for those who wish to be certified as a Lay Servant throughout the UMC.

 Recurring Events

A meal is served at each session. Please RSVP by 4 pm each Sunday afternoon by
calling the church office. You may also tell them if you need a ride at that time.
