Call to Worship Judy Jacobs
From the stillness of the blessed night of Jesus’ birth
We come before You, O God, in praise and thanksgiving.
From the astounding news sung to the shepherds
We thank You for the gift of Your Son.
Let our hearts keep the joy and peace of Christmas always.
Let our spirits rejoice in God’s presence with us.
Fill us with Your love, O God.
Pour your peace upon us that we may be bearers of Your Good News. Amen!
Hymn “My Hope is Built” UMH 368
1. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name.
Refrain:
On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand;
all other ground is sinking sand.
2. When Darkness veils his lovely face, I rest on his unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil.
(Refrain)
3. His oath, his covenant, his blood supports me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way, he then is all my hope and stay.
(Refrain)
4. When he shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in him be found!
Dressed in his righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne!
(Refrain)

Electronic Offertory Prayer Jonathan Grace
Prayers of the People Adam White
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
