No Winter Lasts Forever - A Journey Through Grief

  • Grace United Methodist Church 4105 Junius Street Dallas, TX, 75247 United States (map)

‘For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…’  Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a, 4

In this Lenten offering, we will be discussing the path through grief.  Usually, we are talking about the loss of a spouse, a family member, a person who was a significant part of our lives.  In this Lenten season, we will also be discussing the past year of COVID-19 quarantine and the ways it has changed our daily routine, our communities, our families.  You will be offered a space to share your thoughts and together we will be given the gift of being able to share our stories. we will find the balance of comfort and connection as we move forward.

We will use the book, Winter of the Heart, written by Paula D’Arcy.  It is concise and easy to read.  I will reference other resources for further study.
